Wonho’s Post-Military Comeback: Jingle Ball Performance and US Tour

K-pop star Wonho made a triumphant return to the music scene following his military service, performing at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in Miami on December 21st, 2024. The 31-year-old singer’s appearance marked a significant step in his post-military career resurgence, delighting fans with his performance and interactions.

Wonho’s return to the US comes just months after completing his mandatory two-year military enlistment in September. In an interview with USA TODAY, the former Monsta X member expressed his gratitude for his fans’ unwavering support, which enabled his swift comeback. He acknowledged his surprise at returning to the US so quickly, crediting his dedicated fanbase for making it possible.

The K-pop idol wasted no time in re-engaging with his fans, releasing the English single “What Would You Do” on November 22nd. He also embarked on his first US fan-meeting tour, the 2024 WONHO USA FAN MEETUP, starting on December 4th, in addition to his Jingle Ball performances in Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, and Miami.

Despite his enthusiasm, Wonho admitted that transitioning from military life back to performing was challenging. He confessed to feeling nervous and experiencing shaking legs during his initial performances.
