Virgin Voyages Launches $199,000 Annual Cruise Pass for 2026, Including a Stay on Necker Island

Virgin Voyages is redefining the cruise experience, focusing on adult luxury and unique travel opportunities. The company recently announced its 2026 Annual Pass, offering a year of unlimited sailing and a luxurious stay on Richard Branson’s private island, Necker Island.

The comprehensive pass allows travelers to sail on any Virgin Voyages ship, from any departure port, for an entire calendar year. The highlight is a one-week stay on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, complete with round-trip business-class flights and ferry transfers from the continental US.

The Annual Pass also includes a generous $10,000 shopping spree, on-demand Moët champagne onboard, a Yellow Leaf Hammock, birthday upgrades to a RockStar Quarters suite, quarterly curated Shore Thing excursions, access to a cabana at the Bimini Beach Club up to 10 times per year, and personalized RockStar robes. This extravagant package is priced at $199,000, a significant increase from the 2025 pass price of $120,000.

According to Nicole Huang, Senior Vice President of Sailor Experiences at Virgin Voyages, the 2026 pass builds on the success and excitement generated by the 2025 offering. The high demand and positive feedback prompted the company to launch the 2026 pass earlier than anticipated, with added enhancements.

Passholders will have the opportunity to sail on the newest ship in the fleet, Brilliant Lady, launching its maiden voyage to Alaska from Seattle in May 2026. Passholders can choose a start date of January 1st, February 1st, March 1st, or April 1st, 2026, with the pass valid for a full year from the selected date.

The introduction of Virgin Voyages’ Annual Pass coincides with a growing trend in the cruise industry towards longer voyages, catering to the rise in remote work and extended travel opportunities. Other cruise lines, such as Royal Caribbean and Life at Sea Cruises, have also introduced extended voyage options, ranging from months to multiple years. However, Life at Sea Cruises faced challenges with its inaugural three-year voyage, which was ultimately canceled.
