The duo’s red carpet appearance marked Diaz’s first film premiere since 2014’s “Annie,” which also starred Foxx. Their on-screen collaboration dates back to 1999’s “Any Given Sunday.” “Back in Action” signifies a reunion for the talented pair.
“Back in Action” marks Diaz’s return to acting after an 11-year hiatus. The film, directed by Seth Gordon, sees Diaz and Foxx portraying former CIA operatives Emily and Matt, respectively.
