JordanLuca designers, Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto, surprised the fashion world by exchanging vows at the conclusion of their Fall/Winter 2025 Milan Fashion Week show. The couple, who met in London in 2011 and launched their eponymous label in 2018, transformed their runway finale into a personal celebration.
Instead of the traditional designer bow, Bowen and Marchetto led guests to a flower-adorned platform with a pink curtain backdrop. An officiant named Arabella then appeared, announcing the surprise nuptials to the audience. She emphasized the uniqueness of the event, stating, “It’s not every day that a show at Fashion Week ends with the designers producing a finale quite like this one…the show is the wedding and the wedding is the show.”

Following Arabella’s introduction, the crowd erupted in cheers as the couple exchanged heartfelt vows. After being pronounced husband and husband, the newlyweds shared a kiss and cut a multi-tiered wedding cake, complete with 3D-printed cake toppers of themselves, surrounded by their runway models.
Bowen shared with British Vogue that the decision to marry was a way to celebrate love’s visibility. He stated, “Part of us still doesn’t really believe in marriage, because so much of the institution is about ownership…But what we do believe is that love should be seen.”

The couple’s meeting was as serendipitous as their wedding. They first encountered each other while waiting in line for the bathroom at a now-closed London gay bar, The Joiners Arms, in 2011.
Planning the wedding, according to Bowen, was an organic process. While they debated whether the ceremony should open or close the show, they ultimately decided that “Fashion comes first,” as Marchetto affirmed.
