A routine traffic stop in Florida took an unexpected turn for WWE Superstar Liv Morgan, whose real name is Giana Daddio, leading to her arrest for drug possession.

The incident occurred in December when a Sumter County deputy noticed Morgan’s Jeep weaving within its lane. Body camera footage released by law enforcement reveals the deputy approaching Morgan’s vehicle and inquiring about her erratic driving. However, upon approaching the vehicle, the deputy detected a strong odor of marijuana.

Despite initially denying any wrongdoing, Morgan admitted to having marijuana in the car after the deputy confronted her about the smell. The situation escalated further when a search of her vehicle uncovered a vape pen and a substantial amount of cash.

While searching the car, the deputies discovered wrestling gear, prompting them to ask Morgan if she was involved in wrestling. Upon finding a wrestling card confirming her identity as Liv Morgan, the deputies were surprised to realize they had a WWE Superstar in their custody.
The deputies conducted a field test on the suspected marijuana, which confirmed it was indeed the illicit substance. Following the positive test, Morgan was read her Miranda rights. Although the audio of this exchange was redacted from the released footage, it is clear that Morgan cooperated with the authorities.

After being taken into custody, Morgan made a phone call, seemingly to her boyfriend, informing him about the arrest and asking him to retrieve her car. She was booked into the Sumter County Detention Center on charges of marijuana possession and possession of a synthetic cannabinoid.
Morgan was later released after posting a $3,000 bond. In January, the possession of a synthetic cannabinoid charge was dropped. She subsequently paid a fine and court costs for the marijuana possession charge, bringing the case to a close.
