A shocking incident unfolded recently, as a popular TikToker, known online as Dino, was accused of shooting his girlfriend in the face. The couple, who documented their relationship on the platform under the username Dino and Zara, amassed a significant following with their seemingly loving videos. However, authorities allege that a heated argument after a July 4th celebration spiraled into violence, leaving the girlfriend hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

According to the Flower Mound Police Department, the couple, Larius Brownley (Dino) and SAA Hashimi (Zara), were walking home from an Independence Day event at a local park when the argument began. The dispute reportedly turned physical, prompting them to get into their car.
A short distance later, Brownley allegedly stopped the vehicle and shot Hashimi in the face with a Glock pistol. Arriving officers discovered the 28-year-old victim lying on the ground outside the car. Brownley remained at the scene and was arrested without incident.
Legal experts have weighed in on the case, with Texas-based criminal defense attorney Bridget Williams suggesting Brownley could face a lengthy prison sentence if convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The fact that the couple was in a dating relationship elevates the charge to a first-degree felony, potentially resulting in a sentence ranging from five to 99 years.
Williams also noted that Brownley’s confession to the shooting during a 911 call and his decision to remain at the scene might play a role in mitigating his punishment during negotiations with the prosecution.
