Initially, L’Prise uses her hands to pound on the glass, but quickly resorts to slamming the gun against the window. Her agitation escalates as she paces around the lobby before returning to the front desk. She continues her assault on the window, repeatedly striking it with the weapon.

The tension reaches a boiling point as L’Prise approaches a nearby door and fires a shot through the glass. Without hesitation, she turns back towards the front desk, raises her handgun, and fires another shot into the window.

After unleashing multiple rounds, L’Prise moves away from the front desk and places her bag and gun on separate chairs. She discards her sweatshirt and appears to light a cigarette. Taking a seat with the gun still in hand, L’Prise waits as officers approach the lobby door.

As the door cracks open, L’Prise seizes the opportunity and fires another shot. She then rises from her chair and starts banging on the walls, her behavior becoming increasingly erratic.

Body camera footage reveals officers strategically monitoring L’Prise’s movements, their weapons drawn. They communicate her location and confirm she is still armed, preparing for a potentially life-threatening confrontation.

The security footage then shows officers swiftly entering the lobby and decisively tackling L’Prise to the ground. According to official reports, an electronic control device was used to subdue and apprehend her.

Thankfully, no one was injured during the harrowing ordeal. Officials confirmed that none of L’Prise’s bullets penetrated the bulletproof glass protecting the police department. It was also revealed that a Bristol Police Officer discharged two rounds in L’Prise’s direction, but those bullets were also stopped by the protective glass.

L’Prise is currently in custody, facing a slew of charges that include attempted murder, reckless endangerment, and breach of peace. Her bond has been set at $1 million, and she is scheduled to appear in court on October 17th.
