Seungmin (Stray Kids): A Clingy and Ashamed One-Shot

This one-shot story focuses on Seungmin from Stray Kids, exploring a sweet and relatable moment between him and the reader. It’s a standalone piece and doesn’t connect to any other existing fan fiction.

The bustling restaurant buzzed with laughter as the nine members of Stray Kids enjoyed a meal together. You found yourself constantly wanting to hug Seungmin. While he seemed receptive, a wave of self-consciousness washed over you. You felt bad about your inability to keep your hands to yourself. Muttering a quick “I’ll be back,” you nervously excused yourself to the restroom. Seungmin, a confused expression on his face, watched you go. Jeongin, noticing the interaction, started teasing Seungmin, who quickly regained his smile.

In the restroom, you gripped the sink counter, the pressure turning your knuckles white. You needed a distraction, something to keep you from clinging to Seungmin. All you had was your phone, but using it at the table felt disrespectful. Splashing water on your face, you returned, phone in hand, discreetly hiding it under the table. Hyunjin, engrossed in a conversation with Chan, didn’t notice.

Seungmin, however, immediately realized the shift in your behavior. He waited for you to meet his gaze, but you remained focused on your phone, texting a friend. With a playful roll of his eyes, Seungmin draped an arm around your shoulders, whispering, “Are you okay? You seem a little stressed.”

“Yeah, I’m okay,” you mumbled, still glued to the screen.

“Look at me,” he persisted, his voice light and teasing.

Feigning annoyance, you finally turned, putting your phone away. “What, huh?”

Seungmin’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Why did you stop holding my hand?”

You shrugged, prompting him to lean closer. “You know the answer. Don’t shrug at me.”

“I don’t want to mention it where everyone can hear. It’s kinda bothering me,” you confessed. Seungmin pointed at your phone and then his, a silent suggestion.

Rolling your eyes, you texted him, “I feel like you might get uncomfortable if I keep touching you, so I decided to give you personal space.”

Seungmin sighed, and you questioned, “What?”

He responded with a swift kiss and reclaimed your hand. “I don’t care, Y/N. You’re not at all an annoyance.” He then seamlessly turned back to his conversation with Jeongin.

From the other side of you, Hyunjin, finally noticing the exchange, made a face. “That was gross.”

“Oh, please—” you retorted, accidentally knocking over Hyunjin’s water glass.

“Y/N, that was my water! Now you made a mess!” he complained.

“Oops?” you giggled, triggering laughter around the table.
