Cressida Bonas, known for her past relationship with Prince Harry, recently announced she is pregnant with her second child. The actress and model shared the news in an essay for The Spectator magazine, revealing that she and her husband, Harry Wentworth-Stanley, conceived through IVF and had a remaining embryo stored. This will be their second child, joining their two-year-old son, Wilbur.
Bonas described her experience with this pregnancy as “very different” from her first, primarily due to battling morning sickness, a feeling she likened to “swaying on a boat for months.” She also noted that this pregnancy feels “less consuming” than the first, attributing this to the demands of raising her toddler. She humorously mentioned forgoing the common practice of comparing the baby’s size to fruits and vegetables using a pregnancy app, and not stressing over dietary indulgences like pepperoni pizza.
The couple is currently searching for a larger home to accommodate their growing family. Bonas expressed mixed emotions about leaving their current residence, filled with memories of their early married life and the birth of their first child. However, she also conveyed excitement for the upcoming chapter in their lives.

In a previous article for The Sunday Times, published shortly after Wilbur’s birth, Bonas candidly discussed her two-year journey to conceive her first child. She detailed various methods she tried, including IUI, reflexology, acupuncture, and even consulting a “German healer who speaks to angels,” before finding success with IVF. She expressed gratitude for the procedure working on the first attempt. Bonas shared her story to offer support and solidarity to other couples facing infertility challenges, emphasizing the importance of open communication and reducing the stigma surrounding this issue.
Bonas and Prince Harry dated from 2012 to 2014 after being introduced by Princess Eugenie. She attended Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018. In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry acknowledged Bonas’s support in helping him cope with the grief of losing his mother, Princess Diana.
