Dash cam footage reveals the bizarre moment a man, later identified as Tyler Falcon Solo, resorts to headbutting his way out of a car window during a high-speed chase with Marion County, Florida deputies. The incident, which unfolded on October 15th, began with authorities observing Solo driving erratically at speeds exceeding 100 mph.
When deputies attempted a traffic stop, Solo refused to comply, leading them on a dangerous pursuit. Dash cam video shows Solo weaving in and out of traffic, narrowly avoiding collisions with oncoming vehicles.

At one point, Solo is seen driving directly toward an oncoming vehicle. While it appears he will swerve into the median, he executes a sudden U-turn, narrowly preventing a head-on collision.
The chase continued for several miles, with Solo running red lights and driving on the wrong side of the road. Even as he entered residential neighborhoods, his reckless driving persisted, putting other drivers and pedestrians at risk.
Solo’s attempt to evade police involved driving through a resident’s fence after crashing into a mailbox. Finding himself cornered, he resorted to a desperate and unusual escape method.
In a scene captured on body camera footage, Solo is seen headbutting the car window with enough force to shatter the glass. He then crawled through the broken window and fled on foot.
However, Solo’s attempt to outrun law enforcement on foot was short-lived. Deputies quickly apprehended him with the assistance of a K-9 unit. Body camera footage shows the K-9 apprehending Solo, who can be heard yelling, “Please, I’m…”
Solo was taken into custody and transported to a nearby hospital, where he allegedly admitted to being under the influence of drugs. He was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI, aggravated fleeing, and resisting arrest without violence.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 24-year-old Tyler Falcon Solo is being held on a bond exceeding $50,000. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 14th.
