A Florida woman’s Ring doorbell camera captured the shocking moment when Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to serve her an eviction notice, only to discover they were at the wrong house.
Jennifer Michelle was home when the officers arrived and began trying to disable her front door lock. Through the Ring’s live video feature, Michelle can be heard questioning the officers about their presence. “What are you doing?” she asks. “Uh, we’re here to finalize the eviction,” one officer responds. “It was posted a week ago, an eviction.” Michelle immediately informs them that they have the wrong house and that she is caught up on her bills.
“What the hell is going on?” Michelle exclaims through the Ring camera. As the officers continue their attempts to gain entry, Michelle demands to know their names and asserts her ownership of the property. “What is your name? And that is my house,” she states. “Jennifer, what’s your last name?”

Upon hearing her name, the officers realize their mistake. “Hey, we actually, we do apologize, we have the wrong house,” one officer admits. “It’s the next-door neighbors.” They further explain that they will need to have the neighbors’ locks repaired.
