If you’re looking for style advice, Hannah Berner, the Giggly Squad podcaster, believes in keeping it real. At the American Heart Association (AHA) Red Dress Collection Concert, Berner, accompanied by her mother, Lenore DiLeo-Berner, shared her candid approach to fashion. “If you love someone, be honest,” Berner stated, revealing that her and her mom’s outfit feedback often involves blunt critiques like “Ew, take it off.”
Berner, 33, confidently asserts her fashion expertise, a sentiment echoed by her mother. “Hannah is actually a great stylist. She’s always right,” Lenore affirmed. The pair showcased their shared love for fashion at the AHA event in New York City on January 30th. They graced the red carpet in coordinating red dresses: Hannah in a plunging sequin gown and Lenore in a satiny high-neck design adorned with bows.

Beyond fashion, the mother-daughter duo shared their Valentine’s Day insights. Berner, whose husband Des Bishop proposed on Valentine’s Day 2021, jokingly hoped for a double dose of gifts: “I don’t know if he’s going to get me a Valentine’s Day and engagement gift… I have to look up the rules.” However, both agreed that chocolates remain a classic expression of love. “Life is about balance,” Berner added.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, Berner is also gearing up for the second half of the Giggly Squad tour with co-host Paige DeSorbo. The duo recently sold out Radio City Music Hall and will continue performing across the country, culminating in the April release of their book, How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously.

While their tour showcases their individual styles, Berner and DeSorbo rarely borrow clothes or get ready together. “I think part of us is leaning into our differences… We’re not trying to be cookie-cutter-type girls,” Berner explained. She described DeSorbo’s fashion reactions as ranging from a resounding “no” to an impressed “wow.” This dynamic highlights their genuine friendship and the authenticity that resonates with their fans.
