Isabella Strahan, the 20-year-old model and daughter of NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, is enjoying a well-deserved vacation in the Bahamas over a year after battling a malignant brain tumor. Strahan shared photos on social media of herself and her twin sister, Sophia, relaxing at The Albany resort. The images show a smiling Strahan posing on the beach in a black floral bikini, a stark contrast to photos from a year ago when she was undergoing treatment.
In October 2023, Strahan was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer, after experiencing severe headaches and vomiting blood. Following her father’s advice, she underwent an MRI that revealed the tumor in her cerebellum. Just weeks later, on October 27th, the day before her 19th birthday, Strahan had surgery to remove the mass.

Strahan’s treatment journey included six weeks of radiation therapy, which she documented extensively on social media. In December 2023, she celebrated the completion of radiation by ringing the symbolic bell. However, her road to recovery was far from over. The following months brought setbacks, including adverse reactions to chemotherapy and unexpected craniotomies that delayed her treatment progress.
Despite the challenges, Strahan persevered. In June 2024, eight months after her initial diagnosis, she finished chemotherapy. To mark the occasion, she and Sophia posted a celebratory TikTok dance to Bryson Tiller’s “Let Em’ Know.” On June 14th, Strahan rang the bell once more, signifying the end of her chemotherapy treatments.

“I officially finished my chemo! This was a long journey, but I made it,” Strahan shared in her vlog. “Now I have to recover and get back to my usual state, which is gonna take a long time but [I’m] done with treatments.” Michael Strahan expressed his pride and love for his daughter on social media, acknowledging her incredibly challenging “wildest 8 months.” The recent Bahamas trip symbolizes not only a return to the island but a return to life for Isabella.
