This launch follows Simpson’s previous fall/holiday 2024 collection, which drew inspiration from a “rock and roll western vibe,” as she described to PEOPLE in September 2024. Simpson emphasizes that fashion plays a significant role in her self-expression, stating that clothing choices help her “evoke a certain sense of self” and facilitate her creative process.
The new collection’s debut also comes amidst Simpson’s separation from her husband, Eric Johnson. In a January 14 statement, Simpson confirmed their split after 10 years of marriage, stating they are prioritizing their children’s well-being and navigating the situation privately as a family.
