Toyota Center, home to the Houston Rockets, hosts a variety of exciting events throughout the year. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, this guide provides comprehensive information about tickets, the AXS mobile ticketing app, and important venue policies. Whether you’re a seasoned event-goer or visiting for the first time, this resource will answer your key questions and help you navigate your visit with ease.
Getting Your Tickets and Using the AXS App
Understanding the ticketing process is crucial for a hassle-free entry. Toyota Center utilizes the AXS mobile ticketing platform, offering a secure and convenient way to manage your tickets.
What is AXS Mobile ID?
AXS Mobile ID is a digital ticketing system that allows you to store your tickets securely within the AXS app on your smartphone. This eliminates the need for physical tickets and provides a quick and easy entry process with a simple scan.
Downloading and Logging into the AXS App
The AXS app is available for free download on both the App Store (for iOS devices) and Google Play (for Android devices). Use the same email address you used to purchase your tickets to log in. Alternatively, you can download the Houston Rockets app, which also provides access to Toyota Center events.
Entering Toyota Center with the AXS App
Follow these steps to enter the venue using the AXS app:
- Open the AXS app on your smartphone.
- Tap the ticket icon at the bottom of the home screen.
- Log in using the email address associated with your ticket purchase. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password” option and follow the instructions sent to your email.
- Locate your event and tap to view.
- Tap “View Barcode” and present the QR code on your screen to be scanned at the entrance.
Accessing Your Parking Pass
If you’ve purchased parking at the Toyota Tundra Garage, your parking pass will also be accessible within the AXS app. It functions similarly to a ticket, with a barcode that will be scanned upon entry to the garage.
Printing Tickets
AXS Mobile ID tickets are exclusively digital and cannot be printed for entry.
Using Screenshots of Barcodes
Screenshots of barcodes are not accepted for entry. You must present the dynamic barcode within the AXS app.
Managing Multiple Tickets
While you can have multiple tickets on a single phone, transferring tickets to each individual attending is recommended for a smoother entry process.
Options for Those Without Smartphones
If you don’t have a smartphone, bring a valid photo ID and the credit/debit card used for the ticket purchase to the Toyota Center box office for assistance.
Ticket Access and Management
Tickets are typically accessible in the AXS app immediately after purchase, allowing you to manage them right away. However, the ability to transfer or sell tickets can vary depending on the specific event and is subject to change.
Essential Items to Bring
Ensure a smooth entry by having the following items ready:
- Your smartphone with the AXS app and charged battery.
- Your wallet containing a valid photo ID.
- The credit/debit card used to purchase the tickets.

Toyota Center Bag Policy
Toyota Center encourages guests to travel light and minimize the number of bags they bring. This policy aims to expedite entry and enhance security. Different bag sizes have different screening processes:
- Small Bags (5.5″ x 8.5″ or smaller): These bags undergo a quick visual inspection.
- Medium Bags (Larger than 5.5″ x 8.5″ but smaller than 14″ x 14″ x 6″): These bags are subject to a more thorough screening process, potentially including x-ray machines, which may result in longer wait times.
- Medical and Parenting Bags: These bags are permitted regardless of size.
- Prohibited Bags: Backpacks of any shape or size are not allowed inside Toyota Center.
This bag policy can be modified at any time.
Bag Check and Lockers
For bags that are not permitted inside, Binbox lockers are available for rent near the La Branch Street entrance and Team Shop. Locker rental starts at $15 per bag and is non-refundable. Payment can be made via debit/credit card or mobile payment services like Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash is not accepted.
Toyota Center has a “No Re-Entry” policy, meaning bags left in lockers will not be accessible during the event. Bag check operates concurrently with arena doors and closes one hour after the event concludes. Any bags remaining after this time will be transferred to Lost & Found.
To inquire about lost items, contact Toyota Center Guest Relations at 713-758-7230 or guestservices@rocketball.com. Toyota Center is not responsible for lost items.
