Post Malone’s Unique Collaboration with Oreo: A Twisted Take on a Classic Cookie

Post Malone, renowned for his musical collaborations with artists like Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift, has ventured into a new realm: the world of cookies. Partnering with Oreo, he’s created a limited-edition cookie featuring a unique flavor twist.

The Limited Edition Post Malone Oreo boasts a first-of-its-kind swirled creme, combining salted caramel and shortbread flavors. Sandwiched between classic chocolate and vanilla wafers, this innovative creme offers a new take on the beloved Oreo. Malone himself expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Can’t believe they let me make my own Oreo cookie. So happy everyone gets to try the taste twist — hope you love it as much as I do, ‘cause I think it’s the best Oreo ever!”

Highlighting the uniqueness of the collaboration, Malone emphasized, “It’s the first time Oreo has ever twisted the creme of the cookie and they named it after me.” The cookies feature nine distinct embossments inspired by Malone’s popular songs, including a sunflower from his hit single “Sunflower” and a butterfly from his album “12 Carat Toothache.”

In an interview with USA Today, Malone admitted to being a lifelong Oreo enthusiast, sharing that he’s been enjoying them “like any other human being” his “whole life.” This personal connection to the brand adds another layer of authenticity to the collaboration.

The Post Malone Oreos will be available in stores starting February 3rd, with presales beginning January 27th. This isn’t Oreo’s first celebrity partnership. In 2020, Lady Gaga collaborated with the brand, releasing a pink cookie with lime green creme inspired by her album “Chromatica.”

Oreo also recently unveiled six new flavor variations, including an Oreo Game Day edition featuring football-themed embossments. Tanya Berman, a senior vice president at Mondelēz, Oreo’s parent company, stated that “Flavor innovations and collaborations, inspired by fan behavior, have become a mainstay in our playbook as a way to maintain relevancy across our portfolio of snack brands.”
