Prince Harry recently stepped into a new role as guest editor for BBC Radio 4’s Today program. In a move that surprised many, his first interview was with former US President Barack Obama.
The interview, recorded at the Invictus Games in Toronto this past September, covers a range of topics, including Obama’s last day in office, his post-presidential life, and their shared interest in supporting the next generation of young leaders.

This isn’t the first time the two have teamed up. Prince Harry has visited the White House during Obama’s presidency, working alongside Michelle Obama on initiatives supporting military families and girls’ education.
The Obamas have also been guests at Kensington Palace, famously meeting a young Prince George in his pajamas ahead of the 2016 Invictus Games. The former First Lady even engaged in some playful banter with Prince Harry on Twitter, challenging him to “bring it” at the Games.

The interview, which is expected to be released in full after Christmas, offers a glimpse into the warm relationship between the two figures.
In other royal news, Kensington Palace also released the family’s Christmas card photo, featuring Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Adding to the excitement, the Palace announced that two-year-old Princess Charlotte will be starting school in January.
