Tom Holland’s Non-Alcoholic Beer Brand, Bero, Launches at Target Nationwide

Tom Holland, the renowned Spider-Man actor, designed his non-alcoholic beer company, Bero, with inclusivity in mind. After quitting drinking in January 2022, Holland launched Bero on October 15th, aiming to fill a gap in the market for a premium non-alcoholic beverage. On January 7th, it was announced that Bero’s product line would be available at Target stores across the United States.

“When I explored non-alcoholic options, I noticed a lack of a truly premium brand,” Holland shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “I created Bero for myself because I wanted a drink that made me feel included. My goal was to build a brand that not only stands out but also helps people fit in. I’m thrilled to bring Bero to Target, now available nationwide.”

Bero joins a growing list of health-conscious celebrity brands at Target, including Kourtney Kardashian’s Lemme Tone gummies, Blake Lively’s Blake Brown haircare line, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Papatui men’s care collection.

Holland stressed the importance of a non-alcoholic drink he genuinely enjoys in a fall interview with Forbes during the product launch. “My first year sober was challenging, and if I’d had Bero, it might have been easier,” he stated. He began developing Bero (pronounced “beer-oh” or however you prefer, according to the website) in November 2023 with longtime beverage marketer John Herman. “As a celebrity, you’re constantly offered brand deals,” Holland told Forbes, “but I never found one I was truly passionate about—until now.”

Holland and Herman dedicated the past year to crafting three distinct Bero beverages: Kingston Golden Pils, Edge Hill Hazy IPA, and Noon Wheat. Even Holland’s fiancée, Zendaya, played an unexpected role in the process.

“[Zendaya hates beer],” Holland joked. “She doesn’t drink it at all. In the first testing round, she said, ‘Wow, these are really good,’ and I thought, ‘That’s probably not a good sign.’”

Zendaya and Holland’s relationship began with romance rumors after co-starring in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, but they didn’t confirm their relationship until five years later. At the Golden Globes on January 5th, Zendaya sported what appeared to be a diamond ring, sparking engagement rumors. A family source later confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple was indeed engaged, with Holland proposing over the holidays.
