While Holland welcomes creative differences and even heated debates, the conflicts on the set of “The Crowded Room” stemmed from a different source. He described the atmosphere as tense and characterized by arguments and clashes between individuals, creating a stressful environment that tested his resolve.

The pressure and negativity on set prompted Holland to contemplate resuming alcohol consumption. He admitted to thinking, “If I start drinking again now, with all this going on, it’s gonna get worse, right?” However, Holland’s commitment to his sobriety ultimately prevailed. He credits his strong will and the support system of family, friends, and colleagues, both old and new, for helping him navigate the difficult period. He leaned heavily on those close to him, especially those who had also experienced the challenges of sobriety.
