Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, recently shared his love for New York City on his podcast, New Heights, co-hosted with his brother, Jason Kelce. Despite a low-key New Year’s Eve spent working, Kelce revealed he enjoyed his time in the city, indulging in delicious food and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. He stated, “I didn’t do anything for New Year’s. Stuck working on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s… I did go to New York. I had some delicious food and got to see the big city, which I f—ing absolutely love. Love the big city.”

While Kelce kept his New Year’s Eve plans private, he was seen in NYC days before with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. On December 28th, the couple was spotted in the Meatpacking District, sporting stylish outfits. Swift wore a black embellished Simkhai coat over a black Fleur Du Mal corset mini dress, while Kelce opted for a red Nahmias denim jacket and matching jeans.
This wasn’t their first NYC adventure. Kelce and Swift have enjoyed numerous outings in Manhattan, including a recent dinner date with Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley on December 27th.

2024 was a significant year for both. Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour spanned the globe, and she released her album, The Tortured Poets Department. Kelce attended several of her concerts, even joining her onstage in London. He also secured his second consecutive Super Bowl victory with the Chiefs, defeating the San Francisco 49ers. Swift, along with her family and friends, cheered him on at the Super Bowl and other games throughout the season.
Beyond football, Kelce and Swift enjoyed dinners in New York, visits to her Rhode Island home, and a vacation in Lake Como. After Swift’s tour concluded, Kelce threw her a surprise Eras Tour-themed party, complete with friendship bracelets, the iconic “22” hat, and the memorable cleaning cart.
This Christmas, although Swift couldn’t attend the Chiefs’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, she showed her support from a distance. Kelce and Swift also spread holiday cheer by surprising Chiefs teammate Chris Jones and his girlfriend with gifts.
