Despite these exceptional numbers, Hill’s age puts him at a disadvantage in contract negotiations. With a contract running through 2026, as per Spotrac, the Dolphins hold significant leverage. While Hill is currently a valuable asset, the team has a financial out in 2025. Cutting ties with Hill then would offer salary cap relief, leaving the aging receiver to test a market less receptive to players over 30.
