Was Bryan Kohberger's Car Captured on Video Near the Idaho Murders House Hours After the Stabbings?

Newly released security footage reveals a vehicle resembling suspect Bryan Kohberger’s white Hyundai Elantra near the scene of the University of Idaho quadruple homicide on the day of the crime. The video depicts a white car driving past and slowing down near the King Road residence.

An affidavit disclosed last week revealed that investigators tracked Kohberger’s phone pings in the vicinity of the off-campus house around 9:00 a.m. on the morning of the murders. Court documents also confirm that multiple security cameras near the crime scene captured footage of a similar vehicle passing by the residence at least four times between 3:29 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. on the morning of the murders.

Experts analyzing the video suggest that the vehicle is seen speeding away from the crime scene area at approximately 4:20 a.m., which, according to the affidavit, aligns with the estimated time of the murders.

Over a month later, on December 15th, Kohberger was pulled over while driving his white Elantra in Indiana. At the time of the traffic stop, he was en route with his father from Washington State University to his family home in Pennsylvania.

Following Kohberger’s arrest on December 30th, investigators confirmed the seizure of his white Hyundai Elantra during a search of his parents’ residence in Pennsylvania. Kohberger is scheduled to appear in Latah County Court on Thursday of this week. You can watch the proceedings live here on Long Crime Network.
