Whitney Cummings recently shared a humorous anecdote about the lengths she goes to cover her tattoos for filming. In a TikTok video, the 42-year-old actress and comedian documented the process of having makeup artists airbrush over a tattoo on her wrist. Cummings explained that previous experiences covering tattoos for shows had been complicated by concerns over copyright infringement from tattoo artists. This time, the tattoo in question was a horse on her bicep. “Only a crazy person would tattoo a horse on their bicep,” she joked, “And I’m not playing a crazy person in this particular show.” The video then showed the fully concealed tattoo.

Cummings has been candid about her tattoos in the past. In a 2021 episode of her podcast, Good for You, she even had influencer Hannah Stocking tattoo “I ❤ J” on her foot as a tribute to Jennifer Aniston. At the time, Cummings joked about the permanence of the tattoo, saying, “There’s nothing I won’t do for a laugh…Jen’s gonna see this.”
The horse tattoo, however, holds a special significance for Cummings. It’s a tribute to her own pet horse. In a December 2024 Instagram post, she shared photos of her horse alongside the tattoo, created by celebrity tattoo artist Dr. Woo. The caption read: “My horse finally got to see the @_dr_woo_ tattoo of him and my lil cowboy got to hang with his big bro – be still my heart.”

The Instagram post also included pictures of Cummings’ son, who was born in December 2023. Cummings humorously announced his arrival on Instagram with a picture of herself and the newborn’s hand, captioning it, “3-D printed a human. Enjoy me never having brushed hair again.” The comedian had previously revealed in February 2023 that she might try for a baby that year after freezing her eggs at 32. She confirmed her pregnancy in June 2023 with a series of bikini photos showcasing her baby bump.
