Woman Sought by Police After Newborn Baby Found Dead in Gas Station Bathroom

Houston police are searching for a woman believed to have given birth to a baby found dead in a gas station bathroom on April 2nd. Surveillance footage released by the Houston Police Department shows the woman entering the restroom at approximately 4:25 am.

According to reports, a customer discovered the infant in the bathroom and contacted emergency services. Paramedics attempted to revive the newborn, but the baby was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Investigators believe the woman in the surveillance video gave birth to the child approximately 15 minutes before leaving the restroom. The footage shows her driving away in a white Cadillac. Authorities have stated that no one else entered the bathroom between the time the woman left and the baby was found.

While no charges have been filed, police are urging the woman to come forward for questioning. They believe she may have crucial information related to the investigation.
