Zach Bryan’s Quittin Time tour took an unexpected turn this weekend when the country star found himself face-to-face with an unwelcome guest – a massive spider. During his performance at the Buckeye Country Superfest 2024 in Columbus, Ohio, Bryan was forced to pause his set as the eight-legged creature crawled across his chest and arm.
Musicians typically contend with stage fright, remembering lyrics, and hitting the right notes during live performances. However, Bryan encountered a whole new challenge when the giant arachnid made its surprise appearance.
“There was a spider on me, I’m really sorry guys,” Bryan apologized to the audience, brushing the spider off his arm. “So so sorry… dude it was climbing towards my neck so I had to get it!”
Understandably shaken, Bryan brushed off both arms and his back before resuming his song. Later, he took to Twitter (now known as X) to share the hair-raising experience with his fans: “Guys a whole ass spider climbed on me during my set last night and I stopped mid set to swat it off of me and I was scared to make a big deal of it because NOBODY saw it but here it is in all her glory it was massive.”
Despite the unexpected interruption, Bryan handled the situation with humor and grace, demonstrating his professionalism and dedication to his craft. The incident quickly went viral, with fans praising his composure and sharing their own fears of creepy crawlies.
